Description: Whole Body CT Scan for the Acutely Injured Patient was presented by Kenji Inaba, MD, FRCSC, FACS, on Nov. 5, 2010 at The Arizona Trauma and Acute Care Consortium second annual symposium. He talks about how computed tomography has become one of the most important tools in the diagnostic workup of hemodynamically stable trauma patients as well as the growing concern that computed tomography is being overused. Dr. Kenji Inaba is an assistant professor of surgery and emergency medicine, medical director of the surgical ICU, and program director for the critical care fellowship at the University of Southern California and LAC+USC Medical Center.
