Objectives:

  1. Describe the Characteristics of C. Difficile epidemic strain.
  2. Identify infection control measures that limit the spread of C. Difficile.
  3. Explain the rationale for the antibiotic stewardship in preventing CDAD.
  4. Describe a plan for minimizing C. Difficile infection in the hospital environment.
