The 2007 meeting of the Arizona Chapter of the American College convened at the Scottsdale Resorts November 4-5. During this meeting, six abstracts were selected for oral presentation from a number of submissions from Level 1 Trauma Centers throughout the state, including Scottsdale-Osborne, Maricopa Medical Center and Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. From the group, a panel of judges selected two residents to present their research at the Committee on Trauma Region IX competition to be held in Los Angeles, California on December 8, 2007. Congratulations to Dr. Jodi Gerdes and Dr. Alissa Swearingen for their efforts, and good luck in the regional competition.
