During the upcoming AZTrACC meeting members will vote to pass or amend the newly developed bylaws. Members will also hold elections to fill Board positions including President, President Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the Election Chair. The meeting will be held February 6, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the University of Arizona, Phoenix Campus. If you are interested in attending, please call 602.239.2282.

Research members hypothesize that the so called "Meth Epidemic" is under recognized in Arizona as well as under recognized as a contributing factor in trauma. Recent investigational work done at Maricopa Medical Center using retrospective analysis showed Meth to be a common finding in the injured patient. AZTrACC plans to conduct a five institution city-wide analysis of Meth use in the injured patient.
